The visiting Chiefs dropped a close game Saturday as the Susquehanna Sabers posted a 16-6 victory in a tough defensive game at William Emminger Memorial Field. Lakeland's only points on the day came in the 2nd quarter when DL Weston Loomis recovered a fumble and ran it in for an 18-yard TD.
For the game RB Noah Cuozzo ran 4 times for 27 yards and RB/QB Rocco Spotaro ran 5 times for 13 yards. QB David Naniewicz had 87 yards passing and WR Chase Rosenkrans lead all Chief receivers with 4 receptions for 58 yards.
The Chiefs fell to 2-3 and will try to get back on track Friday 9/27 as the host the Dunmore Bucks.
