Chiefs Drop Regular Season Finale To Mid Valley, 34-7

The Chiefs took an early lead but could not hold on as Mid Valley defeated Lakeland 34-7 in the final regular season game for both squads.

Lakeland took an early lead on their first drive as Junior QB David Naniewicz broke free on a 41-yard run to give the Chiefs an early 7-0 lead. Unfortunately, it was all Spartans from there as Mid Valley scored the final 34 points of the game.

The Chiefs will enter the District 2 2A playoffs as the #4 seed and will be on the road Friday to play the Riverside Vikings.
